Eric joined the Inscape board of directors in June of 2016 and became the CEO of Inscape in March 2020. Eric now leads the team to improve the sales and financial performance of the Company in order to meet its overall corporate objectives. Since 2016, he has been the President and Founder of TEV Capital Corporation, providing strategic advisory and consulting services to both private and public companies. Previously, he was a founding partner of Spectrum Capital Partners, a Canadian private equity firm, and from 2004 to 2012 was a Managing Director at BMO Capital Partners, an investor of minority equity and debt in later-stage businesses. As a member of Inscape’s board, Eric was Chair of the Audit Committee and served on both the Human Resources & Compensation Committee and the Corporate Governance & Compensation Committee.
With more than 20 years of sales experience in the furniture industry, John is responsible for all Sales, Operations, Marketing, Product Development and Human Resource functions at Inscape. Prior to joining Inscape in 2013, John was Regional Vice President of Sales for Steelcase. He is based out of our New York City showroom but travels across the continent to support our partners and clients. John graduated from St. Johns University with a B.S. in Management & Marketing.
A Chartered Professional Accountant, Jon is responsible for all Finance and IT functions at Inscape. He has over 20 years of experience in strategic financial management with a focus on growth, balance sheet optimizations, strong business processes and operational execution with both publicly and privately held global organizations in a variety of industries. Prior to Inscape, John’s roles included Vice President of Finance at SMTC and Chief Financial Officer at Adeptron Technologies.
David Gerson is responsible for the overall brand and product marketing strategy for Inscape. In that capacity, he and his team focus on curating the physical and digital brand experience across numerous mediums and channels to market. Developing powerful brand stories, delivering presentations and generally inspiring and motivating people is a life-long passion for him.
Cecilia is responsible for all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, orientation, performance management, training and development, and employee relations. A proven senior strategic leader, Cecilia brings extensive experience to this role, including learning and development, succession planning, labor relations, and employee engagement. In addition to achieving her Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) accreditation, Cecilia has impressive industry experience that includes over a decade at Steelcase.
Dennis has built his career at Inscape, getting his start on the factory floor in 1979 and holding a variety of positions, including Vice President, Human Resources. In his current role, Dennis is responsible for helping develop the strategic direction, leadership and overall administration of plant operations and our entire supply chain.

Bartley joined Inscape in 1986 in the role of vice president of finance. From 1986 to 2005 he progressed through the organization holding senior positions in finance, sales and operations before being appointed CFO. He left the organization in 2005. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and is a chartered accountant.
Bartley has been a member of the board of directors since 1989 and is currently its chairman. He is also a member of the Corporate Governance & Nominating Committee, Human Resources & Compensation Committee, and chair of the Audit Committee.
Tracy Tidy is an experienced Equity Analyst. She is a member of the investment team at PenderFund Capital Management Ltd. with a primary focus on small cap Canadian equities. Prior to joining Pender, Tracy worked as an equity analyst covering large cap global securities for the Cundill team at Mackenzie Investments. Before moving into research, she was an Institutional Equity Sales Trader.
Tracy joined the Inscape Board of Directors in December 2020 and represents PenderFund Capital Management Ltd., a significant shareholder in Inscape.
Tania is the founder and president of the Toronto-based design firm, Bortolotto Design. Tania is an architect and interior designer and a fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. She was an inaugural member of Waterfront Toronto’s design review panel. Tania believes that architecture has an enormous impact on society’s quality of life and her passion for design is grounded in its ability to enhance happiness, health and productivity. Tania is a WELL AP and WELL Faculty. Under Tania’s leadership, Bortolotto has steadily grown and has been recognized nationally and internationally, receiving numerous design distinctions and awards. The firm was recently named by Blog TO as one of the “Top 15 architects in Toronto”. A design advocate, Tania lends her time to numerous design and academic committees, panels, juries and speaking engagements
Tania became a member of the Inscape board of directors in March 2018 and is chair of the Human Resources & Compensation Committee.
David’s career in finance began in 1998 as a Credit Analyst for Wedbush Morgan Securities, developing and implementing margin solutions for the firm’s brokerage accounts. From 1999 – 2001, he worked as a trader for B. Riley and Co., a boutique research firm, moving on to spend three years with New York-based hedge fund MicroCapital, L.P., as the vice president of research. David currently serves as the co-Portfolio Manager and co-Head of Pacific View’s Microcap team.
David joined the Inscape board of directors in September 2018 and represents Pacific View Asset Management (UK) LLP which is a significant shareholder in Inscape. He is a member of the Audit Committee.
Following an early career in engineering with Asea (now ABB) Dezsö has held a number of academic positions at Swedish and Canadian universities. Professor of strategic management since 1977 and, Dean since 1988 at the Schulich School of Business of York University, he has published books and articles on strategic management and international business. He is also a director of a number of corporations and educational institutions.
Dezsö joined the Inscape board of directors in 2002 and is a member of the Audit Committee and chair of the Corporate Governance & Nominating Committee.
Quentin is an experienced executive who has been a member of the leadership teams of some of Canada’s leading technology companies. He has a strong cross-functional background in sales, marketing, and strategic planning.
Quentin's career spans 30 years and includes leadership roles with Xerox and Softchoice, operating GoToMarket Agility consulting firm, and most recently working with Hootsuite & Top Hat, two of Canada’s leading Software and Service growth companies.
He joined the Inscape board of directors in September of 2019 and is a member of the Corporate Governance & Nominating Committee and Human Resources & Compensation Committee.
